| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 1999 chevrolet blazer. on three separate occasions overthe past two years, i have had to replace the rear seatbelts due to problems with the belts not retracting. the failures of these seat belts has caused me to be unable to secure a car seat in the rear of the car. general motors has charged me for the repairs to the seat belts. given that three of the seat belt assemblies required replacement in the past two years, i feel that there is a design or other defect with the belts that should be investigated. i do not know how significant the problem may be, but if it has happened to me on three occasions in two years, it may be a widespread problem. i ask that you look into it.*ak |
