Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The paint is peeling off of my 2000 excursion. the dealership body shop manager, ford regional manager, service manager and everyone who has looked at the vehicle all agree that this is a manufacturing defect in the lack of application of the "seal coat". i brought this to the attention of the dealership while my warranty was still 100% valid and was casually brushed aside as surface scratches. now chunks of paint are flaking off of the body. the dealership and ford want me to pay $1,000 portion of repairing/repainting. i want the defective paint fixed. meanwhile i have been getting the run around for the past 4-5 months. *jb |
