Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Bike intermittently "misses" shifts, sometimes delayed action in shifting, falling into gear seconds after shifter moved. particularly disconcerting when merging onto freeway and getting "neutral" when third gear desired. possible saftey concern here. no major failure or accident yet, just an annoyance so far, but i'm concerned about the possibility of further incidents as transmission wears. in the wrong situation, this could result in an unexpected inability to accelerate, and possible loss of control of the motorcycle.*ak
