| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Early in the spring my husband and i purchased two graco platinum ultra cargo 5-point harness/booster seats (model # 8489 tra) at seperate stores. after owning each for 3 1/2 months we discovered that that harness straps did not lock when buckled. we contacted graco who refunded our money and accepted the returned seats. we purchased the same seats and after aproximately 100 days of ownership experienced the same problem. we contacted graco and were told that the company had identified a problem with the first set of seats. we will be returning the seats to them to be tested and our money will be refunded. the last two seats were manufactured in february 2004 and may 2004. our concern is for the safety of the other children using that seat if this is a problem. it is very unsafe as someone could be seriously injured in a crash.*ak |
