| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2000 chrysler town & country minivan. i was under the impression that all vehicles must be made so that a car can not be put in gear without pressing on the brake. currently, if my vehicle is in park i can just pull down on the gear shift and it will go into gear, without pressing on the brake pedal. i was surprised as our 1996 jeep had been recalled so they could fix this problem. i am concerned because my 3 yr old son put my car into neutral and it started rolling forward and was stopped by a parked car. we only moved 2 ft in a parking lot, but it could have been worse had we been on a hill or something. *jb |
