Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This is a complaint about a 2004 honda rebel 250cc motorcycle (cmx250c4). with just a little over 1000 miles the clutch went. i have owned motorcycles with thousands of miles on them and never have i had a clutch go. after the clutch went bad i discovered a web site that is dedicated to the rebel and found the 2004 rebel is prone to clutches going bad. i took the motorcycle to the dealer and they said they weren't aware of problems with the 2004 rebel but they said they would talk to the honda rep and see if honda would cover the repair. the bike has been at dealer for a few weeks and they are waiting for parts but they said honda will pay for the repair. i'm hoping they pick up the tab for other 2004 rebel owners who's clutches have failed too. *jb |
