| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The failures on this truck and failure of gm to do anything about it would fill up ten pages. but the current complaint, one we have had for some time, is that the steering wheel locks up when making turns. lately i have seen that they recalled gm cars with this problem but did nothing about the trucks. this is dangerous and needs fixing. when we took it to a gm dealer they told us there is nothing wrong with it. but, it seizes up when you try to make turns. we have missed driveways and almost hit things because it freezes up. it becomes impossible to steer. we haven't had a serious accident yet, but it's just a matter of time. gm has again refused to address the many failures on this truck. this happens at all speeds. |
