Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Two weeks after a regular oil change, the 2.7l engine on my '01 sebring made a large clunk. the dealership mechanic said it had blown a rod (ruined). cause of the failure according to dealership was "oil sludge." not covered in warranty. price quoted for replacement was $7-8000. mileage at the time was 47443. *ak
