Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Safety recall on daewoo in regarding to check engine light. *bf the consumer received a recall letter in the mail, he took the vehicle took dealer but because the light was not on at the time, an engine check was not performed. the consumer stated the engine light came on every two weeks and stayed lit for 2 to 3 days at a time. the consumer called the dealership and made an appointment for the recall to be performed after the inspection, the consumer was told the vehicle needed a cam sensor replaced and a fuse kit due to a malfunction. the consumer was told the cost was 200.00 even though there was a recall that referred to the very same problem. *jb |
