Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Have 2000 corvette w/ manual transmission subject to recall 04v060000. had 04v060000 recall done at maroone chevrolet in 8/04. electronic steering column lock locked up 10/29/2004 while going about 5 miles an hour in reverse after having the recall performed that was supposed to remedy the problem. car had a previous recall performed 3x in 2002 for the exact same problem which never remedied the safety issue because it kept happening. the steering wheel obviously can lock up while the vehicle is in motion rendering a hazardous condition which gm has failed to adequately address in either of their recall attempts. they need to be compelled to provide an adequate fix that actually solves the problem!*ak *jb
