Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The air bag light lit up, and shortly afterwards, the cruise control and horn stopped working. the dealer advisor called me and said that the clock spring would have to be replaced. a couple hours later, he called me and informed me that the wires in the airbag had overheated and the entire air bag assembly would now have to be replaced. the company reimbursed me last month for the clock spring, which they said was recalled. however, i feel that i should also be reimbursed for the airbag assembly, since it was connected to the clockspring. this is a major safety issue that has affected many other consumers with this same vehicle. the dealer advisor gave us the clock spring as we requested, but said that they could not give us the air bag, since it needed to be sent to chrysler for failure analysis.*ak
