| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Received recall 04v076000 transmission failures: while driving transmission exploded nearly crashed. also blew up catastrophically again. *bf the consumers wife nearly crashed when the transmission in her vehicle exploded and she tried to avoid getting hit or crashing into something. prior to the recall, the consumer spent over 2700 to have the transmission rebuilt. the consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and they installed an oil jet kit, consequently 500 miles later the transmission failed again. *jb |
