| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Engine started normally, then as driving along, momentary power surge and partial stall, accompanied shortly thereafter by engine misfire, and coolant exiting exhaust. turned vehicle off and had towed to dealership. vehicle has approximately 42,000 miles on it and has been well maintained. factory warranty up to 60,000 expired from a time basis a few months ago, and dealer will accept no responsibility for head warpage due to manufacturing defect or improper head gasket installation at factory. replacement cost for new engine is approximately $6700. currently starting a legal claim against isuzu. *ak |
