Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Rear seat belt - center- locks up while passager is in the seat. the only way to unlock the seat belt is to release the belt from the buckle and face the rear of the truck and press the seat in so enough belt retracts as to allow the seat belt to un lock. this operation is unsafe if truck is moving. the dealership indicated that this " is " the design and it is up to me to learn how to use the belt. i have check with other manufacturers of trucks and the center seat belt releases teh same as all other belts in the truck. the rest of the belt seam to release after presure is released from the belt. as most seat belts do. this defect in design or manufactoring will cause injury at some time in the future as well as the law states that the belt must be buchled at all times when the vehical is in motion. *ak
