Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tires were purchased in december, 2001 from a goodyear dealer. tires have recently separated (two front tires last week) (two back tires this week). no blowouts have occurred; however, we were lucky. goodyear agreed to replace the tires for us at a discounted price, which price was figured based on the "life left on the tire". they had no knowledge of this recall and now we are out of $232.+ for the replacement of the first two tires. they are currently in the process of replacing the second two tires at a rate of $96.00 a tire. goodyear apparently has no knowledge of this defect/recall and should be notified immediately of their incompetence. *jb
