Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Crossover pipe on engine manifold has had a leak due to rust on the underside of pipe. i have had order in at the dealer in corpus christi for over 6 mos and now that y inspection sticker is out i have been told by the dealer parts department that the part is not in stock and not being made for my van. also i was advised to go to a local junk yard for the part. the junk yard has never had this crpssover pipe in their yard that could be used. i have had to have this crossover pipe patched so i can drive my van i am a disabled person who uses a hoverround wheelchair and it has been real good to drive a plymouth voyger this is the third one i have owned and this is the only problem i have had i am very upset that my ven cannot be repaired correctly it is a 98 model and i feel that it is not so old that it has to be junked because the part cannot be replaced by the dealer. the only problems that you seem to be concerned with are accidents. i will not be able to drive this van in the state of texas without a emission repair to get the safety sticker . i do not feel that crysler does not have the responsibility to provide replacement parts for a van no older than this one it is a 1998 plymouth grand voyager [xxx] mfg date 3-98. my van is in execelent condition and looks like new i am very upset with crysler and my dealer as they offered me no proper was to resolve this problem. only a junk yard or a patch job anywhere i might be able to have it done.*ak updated 07/24/2012 *js information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6)
