Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2000 s-10 pickup i had the tailgate open and i sat on it and the tailgate straps broke and i feel to the ground i already have back problems and when i fell i hurt my back and had to have treatment done on my back by my chiropractor. my husband called the chevy company and told them that the straps broke and asked if there was a recall on them they said yes but not on the s-10 only on the sierras and silverados. they would do nothing to solve this problem. so i went into the recall site and it said they had 42 complaints on the s-10 and sonomas on the 2000 year i don't understand why nothing is being done to fix these if they have had this many complaints i have talked to 2 other people that have this same problem they said they just never took the time to file a complaint. so how many others are there out there like this ? i feel very strongly that they should be responsable for fixing this. thank you beverly ustaszewski. *ak |
