Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Defective fuel rail which caused vehicle to leak fuel. replaced fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator. *bf consumer owns a 1995 and 1997 oldsmobile aurora. the 1997 aurora was recall and repaired under recall 04v110000. on july 7, 2004 the consumer smelled gas inside the 1995 aurora and had it towed to a repair shop. there he learned his 1995 aurora had experienced the exact defect as stated in the recall for the 1997 aurora ( fuel rail leaking gasoline). the consumer submitted a claim for reimbursement. the manufacturer reimbursed the consumer for the fuel rail but not for the regulator which the dealer also replaced. *nm
