Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: 2004 honda rebel cmx250 - purchased a new honda rebel on 10/27/04 after approximately 250 miles i noticed that the clutch slipped when trying to accelerate in higher gears. the problem worsened and was started slipping even more. i took it in to the local honda dealer with approximately 320 miles on the motorcycle and they tried to make an adjustment but i was told a short while later that a new clutch was needed. they told me it will take a week to get the parts to repair. i inquired as to how long a clutch usually last and they told me that it should be between 10,000 and 12,000 miles. the motorcycle is currently in the shop awaiting parts.*ak
