| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The crank shaft pulley failed and caused the drive and v-belt to separate from all remaining pulleys. among other things, i lost power steering traveling at 65 mph on the interstate. it was fortunate i was not travelling on a curvy country road or i probably wouldn't be alive to write this report. as it was it took a lot of strength to be able to steer the vehicle clear of the roadway. the parts distributor told my mechanic they were shipping an average of 55 replacement cranshaft pulleys a month.*ak |
