Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I have a 2000 dodge durango and when the vehicle goes over 15 mph the doors automatically close by power door locks. earlier this year the front door passenger side went out but i could open the door manually. i had it fixed by tash dodge in elkhorn for $150. a few months ago the front driver side went out and the same thing occured. i had it fixed and another $150. this past week the read driver side door went out and it will not allow me to open the door manually or with the control. i have to hit it many times before it will open (sometimes). i contacted dodge and told them that this is a safety hazzard as if someone must exit the rear seat in an accident or fire or some other problem, they are unable to. they said that because the vehicle was out if warrenty that they could not do anything to take care of my problem. i asked to just have them disconect the power lock in the rear door so that it could be manually opened and they will not do that. i feel that this is a flaw in the product that presents a safety hazzard that they should repair. my daughter has a 2000 durango that also had to have a door lock replaced and she now is getting another one that isn't working right. i don't know how many others arev out there with a similar problem. *ak
