| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Was driving north on mi 31 bypass heading for schroeder motors to pick up my dodge ram pick-up truck that was in for service. turned onto napier rd going west and heard a clapping sound like a baseball card in the spokes of a bike. i thought a piece of paper got into the fan blade. there were no warning lights that came on. just as i pulled into schroeder motor mall the car died and that was the end. it rolled to a stop right into a parking spot. i had there mechanics look into it and he had told me that the water pump looked like it failed and caused the timing chain to slip resulting into warped valves. i was given an estimate to replace engine for about $6700.00. they were going to allow me $1000.00 for my troubles off of the bill. mechanic put all of the parts in my trunk and i had the car towed home where it will set until i get some answers. *jb |
