| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Two complaints: vehicle shifts very harshly when placed into drive when engine is cold. while the vehicle is moving and applying the brakes, there is a mild to loud clunking sound. on two occasions the noise was so loud, the check engine light came on, and a transmission sensor had to be replaced. fortunetly, i have a great service dept at toyota. they understood my complaint and is currently replacing the transmission. *ak |
