Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Fuel pump failure - dangerous highway speed, stall, abrupt stall while driving at interstate speeds - very lucky to coast to construction traffic only entrance zone in area without shoulders. almost rearended during stall out.*ak dealer states that fuel pump is defective and requires replacement for $700+ chevrolet customer assistance center does not show indication that this problem is significant. web search shows that numerous people have had similar experience. car websites such as msn show fuel pump as possible future repair requirement in their evaluation. extended warranty expired at 100,000 and car at 107,000 miles. no consideration given. dealer authorized to make repair at my expense.
