| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While washing my vehicle, was scrubbing tires when i noticed a bulge/blister on my left rear tire, on the sidewall. it was located in the middle of tpc, and then the tire size. i notified goodyear of this problem, and they instructed me to locate the nearest goodyear retailer that does adjustments. this tire had approximately 20,000 miles on it, and was 2 yrs. old. this tire replaced another one of the same make, that also developed the same problem, same area. had i have known.....! this tire came as oem when the car was bought in '93, and this is the only tire i've run on the car....but now? goodyear prorated the tire, out the door at $94.00. i was shown where the belts on the sidewall had separated, with the tire being sent to npsc. tire size is p225/60/r16. *jb |
