| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1999 honda accord transmission failure the transmission is hesitating at shift points and shifts harshly when finally shifts. i brought my car into my local dealer who determined the transmission is in need of replacement at a cost of $4280.00. i have since contacted honda's customer service. they have agreed to cover the cost of the transmission but expect me to cover the cost of labor, totaling $863.00. in my research i have found that honda motor corp.has extended the warranties on five models of vehicles built from 2000 thru 2002 but not 1999 year. *nm |
