Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The battery light came on while the consumer was on the way home traveling 45 mph. before the consumer could get off the highway the vehicle shut down. while waiting for the tow truck consumer was able to restart the vehicle. the consumer was notified by the dealer that the alternator was defective. *ak while driving with headlings and air conditioning on, the battery and brake warning lights came on. after coming to a stop, all of the warning lights onthe instrument panel flashed on then the vehicle completely shut down. dealer found defective alternator. *tt *jb
