Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Coolant leak on pontiac 2001 aztek. the lower intake manifold gasket failed. i did not have an accident, but it could have seized the engine with out warning. the low coolant warning never came on even after i was one gallon low. dealer replaced gasket for cost of $730. pontiac would not help with pricing. i did a web search and found a tsb on the gasket where gm/pontiac aknowledges the problem. i am also a member of aztekfanclub.com and other memebers have had the same problem and have had pontiac help cover the cost of the repair.*ak |
