Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The mirrors and driver seat position memory do not respond correctly to the key remote command to unlock the car. the seat will go to the memorized position, but the mirrors do not. the result is the driver is surprised the first time he looks in the mirrors in a traffic situation. he cannot see what is in adjacent lanes in order to make a safe lane change. this could cause a crash. the manufacturer has replaced the driver seat and mirror remote receiver modules and re-programmed them. this did not solve the problem. the manufacturer representative has recognized the problem, and it appears many if not all the cars do this. *jb
