| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a gooseneck trailer with two dexter 8,000# axles on it in june, 2003. since then the magnets that operate the electric brakes have failed on numerous occasions. i have replaced at least 7 defective magnets on this trailer. when the magnet fails i have no brakes on the wheel with a defective magnet. i can't believe i'm the only one with this problem and am afraid of this causing an accident for me or someone else with this product. i have thrown away many of these defective magnets, but have the most recent defect here if you would like it. note: the featherlite information below is not correct. i only entered it because my trailer manufacturer was not an option. if you need more details on this i will be glad to provide them.*ak |
