| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I had a trailer wiring harness installed at u haul inc in sep of 2004, i started experiencing problems with the lighting on my truck in january. this item caused me to lose my tail lights, turn signals, brake lights and head lights. i removed the item from my truck and found that the tail light wire going into the convertor box had shorted out and started to melt. when i told the instaler about the problem they admitted they had problems with the item but failed to remedy the problem since i did not go back to them. not only did this problem cause a possible fire problem but it also posed a safety problem as you could lose you ligting without knowing it and cause a posible crash. *jb |
