| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I recently had a recall attended to on my 2000 acura when the technician told me that my engine mounts needed replacement! i was quite surprised at this expecially when he then told me that this was an inherent problem with this car and he does 10-15 perf week!!! the mounts, he said, are designed to last between 70-90000 miles, and since i had 87000 it was no surprise to him. i have had many cars and never ran into this problem, with an inherent engine mount defect. if this is the case, i feel the design should be corrected and we, the owners should not be responsible for the $458(at this time) is costs to fix their mistake. thank you for your concern. respectfully, joel kreiss |
