| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Consumer states brake pedal goes to floor. brake lines to rear rusted through. replaced 4 lines from front to rear. *bf while braking the vehicle's brake line ruptured causing extended stopping distance. during repair of the brake lines the dealer advised the consumer that the antilock brake system self activates and will need new hubs to correct the problem. within days the consumer obtained a copy of the recall and contacted the manufacturer. the consumer was told by the representative that the recall was only applicable in canada. *nm |
