| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On 2/28/05 my 2001 chrysler town and country engine light activated at the same time i noticed a burning chemical smell (burning transmission fluid). this was a prelude to a blown transmission which is what happened. the garage could not move my vehicle due to the wheel lock. i have 79,000 miles and have had nothing but problems with this vehicle and based upon many web boards i am not alone. in the past 4 years i have spent over $4,000 (on top of the $20,000 price tag) on vehicle maintenance that should not occur at 79,000 miles. to anyone reading this - pay the extra $$$ for a honda, toyota or nissan because you will get your money back!!!!*ak |
