| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The light saying "check engine soon" went on. i was due for an oil change anyway so took the car to the dealer. parts manager said it needs a new thermostat and intake gasket. gasket takes 6.6 hrs labor and will therefore cost over $500. this is a 2002 chevrolet venture van model sv; 42000 miles. this seems an unusual costly repair for this vehicle. what do you think?*ak |
