| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 4 wheel drive transfer case fails to shift from 4 wheel hi to 2 wheel drive. transmission remains locked in 4 wheel drive. vehicle shifted into 4 wheel hi without incident at a speed of 10mph. vehicle will not shift back into 2 wheel drive with the vehicle in park, neutral, drive, or turned off. this is both a safety bulletin and a recall issue. upon contacting daimler chrysler, they stated the vin does not fall within the recall and refused any further assistance.*ak |
