| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Without any warning, my chrylser concorde 2.7l engine suffered a complete failure. repair costs are near $5000 and upon research, i found this to be a common problem on chrysler 2.7l engines from 1998 to 2000. chrysler denies any allegations of the engine being faulty and that they are failing due to improper maintenance. the most that engine ever went between oil and filter changes was 4200 miles and that was a one time occurrence. the rest of the changes were done at or before 3000 miles. chryslers recommendation under normal conditions is 6500 miles.*ak |
