Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Comments: we would like to report the disappointment we have with an infant car seat we purchased late last year. when we purchased this system we thought we were investing in a safe and reliable transportation device for our child. instead we have been faced with frustration and worry. when using the car seat we have cautiously followed the directions outlined in the product manual. yet, almost every time we use the car seat the harness straps loosen and detach from the back of the seat. this defect is very serious. the manual even states that ?failure to attach the harness correctly, can result in serious injury or death?. we are now constantly checking the harness to be sure it has not detached on their own. after reading some consumer reviews on this product, we have discovered that many others have also suffered from this serious defect. i would like to alert others of this product?s deficiencies. as well i would like to understand how consumers could ensure that companies stop manufacturing inefficient products like this. eddie bauer deluxe travel system 01-759 designer 22 se lx deluxe car sear dorel juvenile group 01 06 04 regards, concerned parents the riemma?s [xxx] from nhtsa web site.
