| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2001 yukon xl has 50,000 miles on it. upon startup the abs light stayed on and the pump motor continues to run. the only way to stop it is to pull the abs fuse which turns on the brake light. the vehicle is drivable but only with normal braking and no safety of the abs. i have read several other complaints on this failure and feel that gmc should be very concerned about the quality of their product. i have received estimates on the repairs but have not completed them as of yet. in states which there are vehicle inspections this problem would cause the failure of inspection which leads me to believe this is a safety issue and needs to be addressed as such. *jb |
