Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2000 ford explorer will not start on an incline. we've replaced the fuel pump and now the ford dealership tells me that the gas tank is corroded, the baffles are broken and the air intake valve is defective. this car is only 5 years old. i have had other cars for 10-15 years and have not had a corrosion problem within the fuel tank. i believe this is caused by a defective fuel tank...how can i pursue this matter. the dealer wants $1600 to fix the car. |
