| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Button which turns on headlights broke off of switch. i found that there was a recall for 2000 excursions for this particular defect but when i went to the dealership and later called ford they claimed that my vehicle was not included in the recall. they insist that i have to buy the $85 headlight assembly just to get the $5 knob. i am currently using a pair of needlenose pliers to turn headlights on and off which is unsafe when driving.*ak |
