Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 1997 mazda, that i baught from my friend in 2001. it had a transmission breakdown when at had around 30k miles on it. transmission was replaced by mazda as it was still under warrenty. now it has 112k miles on it and the overdrive light blinks. i was searching on the web to get some clue on the problem and i found plenty of people complaining about the same problem and replacing their transmission with thousands of dollars. my beleif is that there is a manufacturing defect on this vehicle. it should be fixed by the company and not cost the owners thousands of dollars. so far nothing dangerous has happened but it should be fixed before some thing happens.*ak |
