Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Engine became very hot when drove accidentally through a puddle after a large rain. had to replace the serpentine belt, was told by mechanic that this happens alot to this particular vehicle because of the one belt controlling so many pulleys/whatevers in the van. shortly there after the engine had clicking noises & was told the lifters had collasped. the van had plenty of oil & water, all filters were updated too. the van developed an oil and transmission fluid leak. we treated this van like a family member- with loving care. driving on to see family on easter weekend, our van suddenly lost power. we were stranded. the mechanic told us our engine had seized & didn't understand why since we had plenty of oil. the van is too young & has minimal miles on it to have had this happen!*ak |
