Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I bought my truck used in january 2004, at exactly 51,000 miles truck made a loud pop underneath while turning on road. i lost my reverse, second and overdrive gears. 1st works okay, and sometimes it would jump into 3rd. havn't drove the truck since then and my dealer expects me to pay a diagnostic fee and price for transmission. i have had the truck, about 13 months. i am contacting gm to see what they tell me. i have so far seen numerous complaints with this same problem. the sun reaction shell. gm bulletin says that the shell wasnt heat treated enough in 2002 years and will break. but no recall.*ak
