Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Vehicle purchased on 3/26/00. currently mileage under 30,000 miles. been experiencing failure with rotor since the first year of purchase of the new vehicle which vibrated violently when stepping on brakes over 20 miles per hour. below are the dates requiring service and/or replacement of rotor. 2/29/2000, 5/31/2001, 0/24/2001, 06/06/2002, 05/07/2003, 1/24/2003, 5/17/2004 04/04/2005. according to the nhsta data base, there are 217 complaints on the rotor possible defect on this model. its not reasonable for a consumer purchasing a new vehicle to expect replacement of rotors one and sometimes twice a year. have contacted regional division of chrysler in the past years, and have gotten serviced. this year, with the new division manager thomas smith, he states that he has not been aware of the any past complaints of the rotor and that it is a user error. in addition, he refuses to provide an e-mail or mailing address to document the incident. tremendously concerned for the safety of the vehicle. requesting for an investigation. i will be more than happy to fax or mail past service records. look forward to your guidance. *ak |
