| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Vehicle made noise from what i assumed was the engine on the morning of the incident. i immediately called to make a service appointment and drove my son to school. on my way from school to work the vehicle ceased operating. i had stopped at a traffic light and the car died. no indicator lights had gone on. other than the initial noise it had made upon starting that morning there was no indication that there was any problem. the car was towed to a nearby dealership, and i was told it was complete engine failure and that the engine would have to be replaced, no other alternative. i chose not to replace the engine since a new warranty engine would have cost almost as much as the car was worth.*ak |
