| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have 2002 yamaha yzfr6 that has never been raced and has been ridden normally through it's lifetime. second gear has started to slip. this is a known problem with the r6. i have not repaired the motorcycle yet but repairs will replace second gear, sixth gear, the shift fork for the gear and the shift drum. repair cost is quoted at approximately $1500.*ak |
