| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On several different occasions my 1999 chevrolet silverado 1/2 ton would have a malfunction with the antilock braking system. the problem would occur when i was braking to stop at an intersection or driving into a parking space. every time the system would have the tendency to increase in speed when applying the brake. at one time it caused very minor damage to a building. every time it was taken in for service at the local chevrolet dealership and cleaning was done to the antilock system. i read about the upcoming investigation into this problem and was interested to see if this will be a recall to repair the problems? |
