Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Sent the following complaint to daimlerchrysler: power lock failure on driver and passenger doors, know of same exact issue with another 2000 dodge durango owner. dc response: i regret your dissatisfaction and appreciate the time and effort you took to bring this matter to my attention. comments like yours are one way to learn of problems that may develop and improvements desired by customers. the information received is used in product development and quality analysis. unfortunately, we are unable to offer assistance in this matter as the vehicle has exceeded the time and mileage limitations of the manufacturer's warranty. i also see that you do not have a service contract for coverage. my response: in regard to your reply, this does not satisfy me. it sounds as though you really don't care.... you did state: "improvements desired by customers. the information received is used in product development and quality analysis..." well, this is something i want improved on the vehicle that i now have. is there any way to appeal this? what is the process i need to go through to get this taken care of? please do not reiterate the lack of warranty. dc reply: i received your email. i regret that you were not satisfied by my prior email and have documented your feedback. unfortunately, your email does not contain any information that would cause a change in the previous decision. therefore, your request must again be respectfully declined. we also do not have an appeal process and this is the final decision of daimlerchrysler. any future communication related to this issue will be retained in corporate records. if at some future date we can be of assistance to you, in some other area, please let us know. |
