| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Contact states: contact is having problem with brakes at slow speeds when he slows down the abs kicks in and experiences extends stopping distance. no prior warning. only does it like at speeds of 15 mph and under. this has almost caused two accidents. dealer admitted that one of his mechanics did fix another gmc sierra for the same problem. the abs problem caused the mechanic to hit the dock door at the dealer station because the vehicle would not stop. dealer said that they had more problems with this vehicle in snowy weather due to salt on the sensor.*ak on a daily basis abs brakes pulsate and increase consumer's breaking distance at slow speeds. consumer had several close accidents which were a result of the failed abs brakes. *sb *nm |
